Remembrance Day in London

At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month 100 years ago, World War I ended. November 11th is a solemn day in London known as Remembrance Day. I was in London 4 years ago on Remembrance Day to make the beginning of the Great War. The moat of the Tower of London was filled with 888,246 ceramic red poppies, one for each British or Commonwealth serviceman killed in the Great War.

This year, to mark the centenary of the end of the war, they have placed 10,000 torches in the moat. Check out this link to read all about it!
